Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Earlier this month the Supreme Lodge traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to attend chapter Lefkas’ annual spring picnic and hold our first official in-person lodge meeting in over a year. This was a great event, and I’d like to thank the chapter officers and members for hosting us, and for their true Ikarian hospitality.
After so many months of being isolated from each other, it was refreshing to meet with our fellow sisters and brothers. My hope is that going forward more events and chapter meetings are scheduled so we can gather and begin to return to a normal way of life. If your chapter is considering an event in the coming months, please let the lodge know so we can attend and support your efforts.
National Convention – Cleveland, Ohio
I know we are all very excited for our upcoming National Convention, which will be held in Cleveland, Ohio in just three months. This year’s event promises to be very memorable, and I’d like to thank the members of our Cleveland Chapter for their hard work and dedication. Planning this year’s convention was extremely difficult, but through their steady commitment and experience, they have planned a truly amazing event for us this year!
Our convention is the main event we all look forward to each and every year. With last year’s convention being postponed, I am certain this year will be one you don’t want to miss. I encourage everyone to attend this year’s convention and support the host chapter by submitting a convention journal entry. More
details on the convention can be found on the convention website: (https://www.icarianconvention2021.com).
2021 Scholarship Program
Applications for the 2021 Pan-Icarian Scholarship program are available on our website, and must be submitted by July 1, 2021. This is a valuable program which invests in our youth and I encourage all eligible students to apply.
Applications are now submitted electronically and can be found on our website at: https://pan-icarian.comscholarships/. Questions on the application process can be submitted to our Scholarship Chairman George Livanos ([email protected]).
A strong membership base has long been the lifeblood of our great organization and the reason why we have been able to accomplish so much together. If we are to continue our success as an organization, and preserve it for future generations, we must ensure our base remains strong. While the pandemic did impact last year’s membership totals, I’m optimistic this year we will rebound strongly. I ask that all members remain actively engaged in the Brotherhood and send in their membership payments as soon as possible.
I’d like to remind everyone that memberships can be paid through our website at: https://pan-icarian.commembership. Mailed in submissions should be sent to Supreme Treasurer Evangelos Fragos with checks written out to “Pan-Icarian Brotherhood of America”.
