I hope you and your families are doing well and enjoying the summer.
Chapter Nisos Ikaria is working hard on the convention. It will be here before you know it. Rooms are going fast so book your room before they are sold out. The room rate is effective until August 10th Any one with questions may reach out to the chapter. Please check the Canadian government page to keep updated on the requirements to enter Canada.
We have a Culture and Arts program for anyone that is interested. This includes fine arts, performing arts, written work, photography, etc. They have had several meetings already. If you want to join the meetings or have any questions, please reach out to Hrisoula Mavrophilipos, District 1 Governor.
We also want to remind everyone to pay their dues. During these difficult times it is more important than ever to support your local chapter.
I would like to remind all the chapters to please submit your chapter’s per capita to Steve Stratakos, Supreme Treasurer as soon as possible. I would like to also thank those chapters who have already submitted your per capita. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and doing so in a timely manner ensures your chapter has its delegates at the convention.
The Delegate forms and Chapter Officer forms are due August 1st to Evangelos Fragos, Supreme Secretary. Please make sure you submit them so you have delegate representation at the convention.
Any chapter that has items they want added to agenda please submit them to me. I will be working on the agenda and send it out a few weeks before the convention. Safe travels to all who are traveling this summer. I hope to see you in Toronto at the Convention in September.
